Privacy policy

There is very little to disclose here, which is itself the disclosure. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts. What you type into the quote form is the only thing that reaches us.

Things this site does not do

It sets no cookies. It runs no analytics package: not Google Analytics, not a privacy-friendly alternative, not anything. No advertising pixel, no remarketing tag, no session replay, no heatmap, no live-chat widget, no hosted fonts, no embedded video. These pages ship no JavaScript whatsoever, so there is no code running in your browser that could track you even if we wanted it to. You do not have to take that on trust: open your browser's network tab and count what loads.

What the form asks for

Fill in the quote form and we receive:

  • Name and phone number. Required, because a callback needs both.
  • Email. Optional, and the form submits perfectly well if you leave it blank.
  • The service you picked from the dropdown, plus whatever you write in the details box.

Three further items are recorded automatically: the timestamp, your browser's user-agent string, and the country code Cloudflare infers from your IP. The IP address itself is not stored. Nothing on this site asks for payment details, a Social Security number or a date of birth, and no legitimate duct cleaner needs any of those to quote you either.

Who receives it, and who is paying

Your inquiry goes to a local duct and vent contractor who pays to receive it. We do not clean ducts. This site's whole function is to put Arlington homeowners in touch with somebody who does, and that contractor, not you, covers the cost of the introduction. It is the same point made on the about page, and it belongs here too, because knowing who pays us is how you should calibrate everything else we say.

Your details are not sold, not syndicated to a lead exchange, and not handed to a data broker or an aggregator. One inquiry, one contractor, one callback about the thing you asked about.

Hosting and storage

The site runs on Cloudflare's network, so Cloudflare processes requests as our hosting provider. What you type into the form is saved to a database we run on that same network, hosted in North America, and forwarded to the contractor from there. It does not go anywhere beyond Cloudflare and that contractor.

It is kept while the inquiry is being handled and briefly afterwards so we can confirm it was. Ask and we will delete it sooner.

Getting something deleted

Use the contact form, include something that identifies the original inquiry (usually the phone number you gave) and say what you want gone. If you get no response, send it again rather than assuming it was handled.

Children

None of this is directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

If this page changes

The review date at the top changes with it. It gets re-read whenever the quote form changes, since the form is the only part of the site that collects anything at all.
